First Friday Movie Night

1-2-1 Mentoring is hosting a FREE First Friday Movie Night at Le Bauer Park on 7.7.17!

Family-friendly activities begin at 7:30 pm, and movie will begin promptly at sundown, around 8:30pm.

"Look to the Sky" is an inspirational film about HOPE, which highlights the superpower of kids who have made a difference in their community. Brett Culp, Director/Producer of the film, chooses one charity per market to screen his movie for free, and he chose 1-2-1 Mentoring! The goal is to spread awareness of the importance of mentoring, and also to receive donations for kids in need of mentoring.

We will be announcing the winner of 1-2-1 Mentoring's "Super Hero Kid 2017 Award" at the event. We have received nominations from the community for kids who have performed extraordinary acts of COURAGE, KINDNESS & COMPASSION. The winner will receive a Certificate of Achievement, and a $100 cash prize! :) Pre-Movie entertainment will include 4 live performances of local super hero kids: violin duet, singers, dancers, and a taekwondo demonstration! Here's a sneak peek at the movie: https://vimeo.com/138808132 The Associate Producer of "Look to the Sky" Bolaji O.
