RALEIGH, NC - Wake County officials say a toddler boy drowned in a pool late Saturday morning.
The incident was reported around 11:50 a.m. in the 300 block of Martindale Drive, according to a news release from the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
The release said the parents of the victim were babysitting at the home and were getting ready for a trip to a nearby lake with their children.
